Forex Tracker

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This policy explains how the Forex Tracker Android app ("the app", "we") handles information. In short: the app does not ask for an account and does not collect personal data.

What the app does

Forex Tracker shows market quotes, charts and news for forex, metals, crypto and US stocks. It is an information tool: it does not place trades, take payments or connect to a broker.

Information we do not collect

Information stored on your device

Your watchlist (the instruments you star), app settings and recently loaded news are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.

Network requests

To show prices, charts and news, the app connects to our server at api.fxtracker.org over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). These requests contain only what is needed to return market data, such as the instrument and timeframe you open. Like any internet service, our server receives your device's IP address while it responds; we do not use it to identify you, build profiles or share it with anyone.

Company logos for US stocks are loaded as public images from our market data provider's image server. This request contains no personal data.

When you open "Read on source" or share a story, the publisher's website or the app you choose to share with is opened. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Market data

Quotes, charts and news are provided by third-party market data providers through our server. They are for informational purposes only, may be delayed and are not investment advice.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
